MSW/RSW

Brenda is a Registered Social Worker through the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers and has twenty years of experience in ‘holding space’ for people. During that time, Brenda has learned the importance of leaning into difficult spaces and sitting with others in pain. She looks for every opportunity to create safety in relationships so that others can share their story.

Brenda has a MSW from Laurier University, and has gained training with Gabor Mate (Compassionate Inquiry) and Stephen Porges (Polyvagal Theory). Brenda also has SandTray Certification, Play Therapy Certification, and BrainSpotting Certification.

With her continued training and capacity to offer a wide range of modalities, Brenda will be working with New Tide in the evenings and weekends, and welcomes every age of client!
